I enjoyed drinking alcohol for 20 years until it was not fun anymore. If I was happy I drank, If I was sad, I drank. Waking up with a headache, not knowing what happen last night, was no longer how I wanted to exist. I realized now that everything I put in my body has a direct result of how my body functioned, physically and mentally. Alcohol was keeping me from my spiritual connection. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired.
So I stopped, March 22, 2015. I did not know how to stop, so I got some help. I stayed sober for over a year, and thought I would try again. I thought I was smarter, I was like I got this. At first things were fine, but the blackouts slowly creeped up on me again. I was on a downward spiral fast. In March 22, 2017 I stopped again this time knowing it is life or death for me.
